All India RRBs
Currently, 21 RRBs operate under the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB). In 1998, all RRBs were placed under the authority of the RRCB, which was established within the Ministry of Railways to coordinate and streamline their functioning.

The Government of India established the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) under the Ministry of Railways.
First time in July 1942, as an experimental measure, a Service Commission with a Chairman and two members was established for the recruitment of Subordinate Staff on the then North West Railway. The position was reviewed in 1945, and Services Commissions at Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, and Lucknow were set up under the Railway Board. In January 1985, Railway Service Commissions were renamed as Railway Recruitment Boards(RRBs).

Create an account
- Visit the official website: https://www.rrbapply.gov.in.
- Candidates must first register by creating a new RRB account using the official RRB Railway website. Those who have previously registered should use their existing login credentials and the same registration link to apply.
- A valid personal mobile number and an active email ID are essential, as OTPs for account verification will be sent exclusively to these contacts.
- Information submitted in the “Create an Account” form—including mobile number and email ID—is final and cannot be modified at any later stage.
- Hence, candidates are strongly urged to review and enter all details with utmost care and accuracy, as no corrections or updates will be permitted after account creation.
